E*Gowns clothing is fitted: to avoid any problems, please take careful measurements. If possible, measure wearing the undergarments you plan to wear with gown. Please avoid taking measurements over the top of clothing. Our size chart lists measurements of our gowns, not necessarily the measurements of you.  If your measurements are just a little bigger than the dress size, order the next size up.  It’s always possible to take a dress in, but not to let it  out.  Of course the final decision of the dress size you order belongs to you.

 

 

Bust Measurement: Lift your arms to the side and measure around your body, crossing over the fullest part of the bust

 

Waist Measurement: Measure around your waistline where you normally wear your pants.  Keep your forefinger between your body and the measuring tape for the most accurate measurement

 

Hip Measurement: Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

 

Helpful trick: If you don't have a measuring tape on hand, simply use a piece of ribbon or string. Measure from outside of shoulder straight down to the floor.  The standard length of our dresses is 59”, up to 60”.   When you get to the length , simply measure with yard stick or straight tape measure.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions info@egowns.com or 208-323-7162.
